PRIVATE CLOUD
(Private Cloud) is a cloud computing infrastructure model that is available only to an organization. In this model, cloud resources (servers, storage, networks, etc.) are allocated to a single organization and are usually managed by that organization's own data center or a third party provider. Private Cloud is a preferred solution, especially for large-scale companies with high security and compliance requirements.
Key Features of Private Cloud:
Private Infrastructure: A Private Cloud is an infrastructure configured solely for a specific business or organization. This infrastructure includes resources such as physical and virtual servers, storage, networks, and firewalls. It does not operate in a shared environment, resulting in higher security and performance.
Full Control and Customization: Private Cloud gives businesses full control over their infrastructure. Companies can configure it according to their specific needs, customize security policies, and gain greater flexibility in data management.
Private Cloud Types:
On-Premise Private Cloud:
In this model, the cloud infrastructure is hosted in the company’s own data centers. The company manages the entire infrastructure and controls the resources.
Advantages: Full control, security, performance customizations.
Disadvantages: High hardware, software and maintenance costs; need for in-house expertise.
Hosted Private Cloud:
The cloud infrastructure is provided by a third-party service provider, but all resources are still used by a single organization. The provider manages the hardware infrastructure, while the business maintains full control over applications and data.
Advantages: Infrastructure management is handed over to the provider, but a customized solution is still offered.
